Gorgeous setting. Some food options were very good like fried green beans but the brisket melt while tender was somewhat dry without much flavor. Kids liked their chicken wraps though. Definitely worth checking out and sit on the porch if you can.
Loved the B&B. Being right on the river is a great treat. It was clean, quiet and affordable. If you are tired of your bike, you are within a half mile of downtown and within a mile of a great pizza place. It was very quite and breakfast was perfect fuel for heading out on the trail.
just visiting friends and had a drink, good food and easy to get to along the yough river and just off the Great allegheny passage bike trail! if warm enough sit outside on the porch! nicely accommodates groups too!
Excellent place to eat. The food was tasty, the prices were good and the view of the Yough beautiful. We sat inside the old farmhouse, but you can sit outside on the porch overlooking the Yough. I do wish they had dinners available earlier than 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Truly a great place to stop on your bike trip and eat. The menu was impressive. The view spectacular. We sat on the outside porch facing the river. Our server (Amy) was super friendly. We'll be back... The Long Island Ice Tea was off the scale! I had to order a second one after my meal and sit under the beautiful maple tree and enjoy the moment before jumping back on the trail!
