I've told several people about my experience and they all agreed we should of not paid for the food. I really wish we would of just left. What a waste of money.
-had to be constantly asked for water
- Friends had burrito. They all tasted the same. We used half a bottle of hot sauce at the table to give them something to taste.
Preston (server) recommended a turkey bacon sandwich, delicious! homemade chips a nice touch.
I can't believe we spent $40 for the most mediocre food in my life. I had marinated chicken, foil wrapped potatoes, and grilled asparagus waiting at my campsite. I'll never come back so thank the thunderstorm for this. I honestly would of just ate a hotdog & Smores and been more happy with that than the food I ate.
-We ordered steel Town fries. NO SALT. Barely any queso. ($11)
-kinda just slammed things on to table. Aka careless
Most of the food falls into American or Tex-Mex and it was superb. The burgers and burritos we've had were awesome. The serving sizes are insane. Decent selection of bottled IPA beers (although a little expensive). Pretty fast service and the employees were all very friendly and prompt. It's nice to stumble upon a new mom and pop type family restaurant and have it be so good.
Great food, cozy, friendly people
Honestly I belive it's named Lucky Dog because of the doggy bag you will take home. We were forced to come in while camping when a thunderstorm hit.
- I had the chicken Pineapple flatbread. Seriously I paid $13 from this!! A Naan flatbread with 6 pieces of Pineapple, a bland white piece of chicken. No marinate it was white as paper and way too thick for a sandwich. The chips thanks to the pickle were mushy. Came barely warm and half way burnt.
5) Water all over the floor from the rain without a caution sign. No rub to stop the mud from tracking in. The door also was propped to stay slightly open so if it was windy that door would of been slamming around.
2) Sat at the table with the dirty dishes and plates for probably 4 minutes before anyone came over.
4) The food - bland. I was staving coming in to the fact that it was bland and just not worth eating is sad.
As I was walking into the Lucky Dog Cafe and kinda just scanning the outside tables, I thought to myself: "This just looks like cheap stadium food". *I couldn't have been more wrong in my first impression. *
-Never have I said oh look how frothy my ranch is! But today was the day. Props for making homemade ranch, but it was more buttermilk texture than creamy.
The food seemed so amazing I had such a hard time picking and changed my mind 2x before ordering. So disappointed in everything.
-not friendly
3) Sadly, when she finally came over it was clear that she hated her job. I have no idea what her name was. I'd love for her to know that it shows. (Unnatural blonde in a surprisely bright orange shirt and pink floral short skirt with a choker and a moon on it.)
Strange liberal hippy place. Food and beer were good. No draft beers available. Only bottles. They drastically overcharge meat to force you to be a vegan. A Dollar more for Guac on a burger but 3 dollars extra for bacon? That's outrageous.
1) Completely packed. We stood awkwardly at the door not having a clue what to do. Finally someone said take our table. The table was a chair short. Ask everyone with extra chairs for one. Denied.
